Mason Stevens is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer with a diverse background in fitness and rehabilitation. A native of Columbia, Mason earned his Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Fitness from the University of Missouri before pursuing a graduate degree in Kinesiology at A.T. Still University.

His professional experience spans sports conditioning, corporate fitness, spinal rehabilitation, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, and medical fitness. Mason has a special passion for designing safe and effective programs for older adults, helping them improve their quality of life.

In addition to his role at MET-Fitness, Mason is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at the University of Missouri. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, Olympic-style weightlifting, and spending time with his family.

Cheryl earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Missouri in 2004. During her time in school, she discovered a passion for weightlifting, which eventually led her to pursue
a career in health and fitness. After graduating, she became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2007.

With a broad range of coaching experience, Cheryl has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals understand the importance of weight training as we age and enjoys connecting with both first-time gym goers and seasoned athletes alike.

Outside of her work at MET-Fitness, Cheryl enjoys chasing her little boy around and spending time with friends.

Nate Bacott has been involved in the fitness space for nearly 20 years, bringing a wealth of experience as both an athlete and coach. With a background in Track & Field Throwing, Olympic Lifting, and CrossFit, Nate has dedicated his career to helping athletes of all levels improve in the areas of nutrition, lifestyle, and fitness.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development (Adulthood & Aging) and a Master’s in Education (Positive Coaching) from the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Throughout his career, Nate has managed or owned four microgym facilities and collaborated with educational institutions like Arapahoe Community College, Columbia College, the University of Colorado, and Regis University.
